1. Too much calcium in the raw materials

Calcium is commonly used in the production of hot melt adhesives. It helps to improve the stability of the colloid and plays an important role in maintaining its use in different environments. However, if excessive calcium is added in order to arbitrarily improve the stability of the hot melt adhesive, it will have a counterproductive effect. Although the amount of calcium is not the only way to control the melting point, it will still have a certain inhibitory effect on the dissolution of the hot melt adhesive.

2. Too many carbonized materials in the glue furnace

Hot melt glue is always not used up, and it is always reheated and used. In addition, the glue cylinder is not cleaned regularly, making it increasingly difficult for the hot melt glue to adapt to the gluing environment. If the glue cylinder is not cleaned for a long time, there will be a lot of carbonized materials accumulated inside, which will hinder the conduction of heat. Hot melt glue heats slowly, so it melts slowly, and it will feel like it always cannot melt. If you don't have time to clean it, you can only try to increase the melt temperature and wait for it to melt into liquid before using it.

3. The temperature displayed by the glue machine is inconsistent with the actual temperature

Sometimes it is not because of the performance problem of the hot melt adhesive, but because there is a problem with the temperature control system of the glue machine, which leads to inaccurate melting temperature. The actual heating temperature of the hot melt adhesive is inconsistent with the set temperature, which will also cause the glue to not melt. In order for the hot melt adhesive to fully melt, it needs to reach the rated operating temperature. If the temperature control of the glue cylinder is inaccurate, the heat provided to the hot melt adhesive is insufficient, and the latter will of course not melt. The glue equipment needs to be maintained regularly, and the error between the temperature control of the machine and the actual temperature provided should be checked from time to time, so that appropriate fine-tuning can be made during production use to allow the hot melt adhesive to maintain stable performance output.

The reason why the hot melt adhesive cannot melt is probably a combination of the above three reasons. It is recommended that customers clean and maintain it regularly during use to extend the service life of the hot melt adhesive machine and stabilize the glue output of the adhesive machine.
