When we use hot melt glue machines, we often encounter different products that need to be replaced with different hot melt glue sprays. So when replacing different models or brands of hot melt glue, you need to pay attention to the following steps:

1. Set the original hot melt glue in the hot melt glue machineto the use temperature and heat it to melt it into liquid;

2. When the hot melt glue is melted into liquid, start the piston pump or gear pump to remove all the old glue remaining in the glue barrel.

3. When all the residual glue is discharged, turn off the piston pump or gear pump, and wipe the residual glue in the glue barrel with a rag. To make sure there is no residual glue in the glue barrel, you can also use a high-pressure air gun to blow a small amount of air.

4. Remove the filter and clean it. After the filter is removed, start the piston pump or gear pump again, discharge the hot melt glue remaining in the pipe, clean it, and then turn it off.

5. Then put the cleaned filter back, reassemble it and lock it. Then remove the filter of the hot melt glue gun and clean the filter of the glue gun.

6. Make sure that the hot melt glue barrel and filter are clean before adding a new brand of hot melt glue. After the new glue is melted, start the piston pump or gear pump to drain the residue in the hot melt glue pump, hot melt glue hose, and hot melt glue gun. In this step, you need to confirm that the glue sprayed out of the hot melt glue gun is new glue before turning it off.

7. Finally, you can use the new brand of hot melt glue for production.
