On the afternoon of April 1, the third book sharing session of Suzhou Oushida kicked off as scheduled. More than 20 book lovers gathered together, using books as boats to sail into the deep sea of life, parenting, society and emotions. Chen Xueyan, Lu Ranran, Zhou Zangxia, Mu Wenjuan and Huang Bin, the five speakers, led the audience on a journey of thinking across time and space, from classic literature to psychological philosophy, from heartwarming stories to social insights.
Chen Xueyan×Life: The Shackles and Redemption of Choice
"The foreshadowing of fate has been quietly buried as early as the choice." Chen Xueyan used Gao Jialin, a character created by Lu Yao, as a mirror to question the ideals and reality of life. She pointed out sharply: "We often think that choices change our fate, but we ignore the price behind the choice." Combining workplace cases, she proposed that "true maturity is to accept the imperfections of choices and reshape oneself in regrets", which resonated deeply with the young professionals present.
Lu Ranran × "Strong Thinking - Tao Te Ching":
Use softness as a blade, a way to break the deadlock
Using "The highest good is like water" as a guide, she subverts the traditional definition of a strong person: "Water drips through a stone not because of force, but because of persistence; the sea accepts rivers without competing for height, but becomes the king." She extracted workplace wisdom from the Tao Te Ching: "Wuwei" is a team management that lets go and trusts, and "Non-competition" is a strategy to break the deadlock by focusing on the core. When it comes to "Knowing that you are content is always enough", there was applause at the scene - in this era of involution, Lao Tzu's "slow philosophy" is just like a sobering medicine.
Zhou Zangxia × "How to Give Children a Sense of Security":
Love is about understanding, not giving
Zhou Zangxia's sharing is warm and thought-provoking. Based on the theory of "security prism" in the book, she pointed out that "parents' anxiety is the biggest anxiety of children". When demonstrating the "embrace silence method" on the spot, a mother shared with tears: "It turns out that I always use material to compensate for the lack of companionship, but I ignore that what children want is just to be seen." The golden sentence "security is not airtight protection, but the light that is always on when you fall" was taken note by many people.
Mu Wenjuan × "There is a small shop at the edge of the cloud":
The world of fireworks has its own mountains and seas
When Mu Wenjuan softly recited "This side of the mountain is Liu Shisan's childhood, and the other side of the mountain is grandma's sea", the scene seemed to be brought into the dawn and dusk of Yunbian Town. She compared the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren in the book to the footnote of "Chinese family affection": "Grandma's Wang Yingying never spoke of love, but hid her deep affection in the aroma of bacon and enamel pots." We always chase the distance, but forget to look back at the person who is "waiting for you to come home at any time."
Huang Bin × "The Crowd":
Keep the light of reason in the hustle and bustle
Huang Bin, who made his debut, revealed the contemporary revelation of "The Crowd": "In an era where traffic is paramount, independent thinking requires more courage than blindly following." He combined the cases of online public opinion and raised a soul-searching question: "When the group is reveling, have you also quietly surrendered your judgment?"
Writing ends, life begins.
May we always walk with books and live with our hearts.
