Hot melt adhesive
is a new type of environmentally friendly material that is solvent-free. Its formula is based on polyurethane and designed with various characteristics. It is solid at room temperature, but when heated above its melting point, it melts into a viscous liquid for bonding processing. After cooling to room temperature, it returns to a solid state and belongs to reversible thermoplastic materials. It has good elasticity, flexibility, and low temperature resistance, and has strong adhesion to various different materials.
Hot melt adhesive, due to its high initial adhesion, can bond various materials and is widely used in clothing, footwear, bags, handbags, clothing, medical and health care, military, toys, shoe material and fabric bonding, automotive interior and exterior composite bonding, etc.
Automobiles are one of the important application industries for hot melt adhesives, and the composite of automotive interiors is one of the key scenarios for the application of hot melt adhesives in the automotive industry. The interior of a car is usually composed of several parts: velvet, sponge layer, and roof panel. The bonding between the velvet and sponge layers is achieved through hot melt adhesive.
