Carbon paper is a kind of processed paper. Its manufacturing principle is to apply a layer of “thermosensitive coating” or wax pigment on high-quality base paper. Ordinary carbon paper is made by applying a coating composed of wax, oil and colored oil-soluble dyes on the base paper at 90℃~95℃, and then cooling and aging. Carbonless copy paper has two coatings: CF layer and CB layer containing developer. The developer is a special colorless dye dissolved in non-volatile carrier oil. After 3 to 7 hours of use, it is made into micron-sized microcapsules. The impact pressure of hard writing and printing can crush the microcapsules, causing the colorless dye solution to flow out and contact the developer, producing a chemical reaction and presenting color pictures.
